Decadance vs. The Firebird: A Hip-Hop Ballet

Experience a new form of movement when Decadance Theatre visits Ordway Center to share the new urban folk culture known as hip-hop. Made up of female dancers from the US, Colombia and Japan, most of the dancers acquired hip-hop in the clubs and on the streets of their various unique cities. These female hip-hop dancers have joined forces to create a new outlet for hip-hop performance that moves the style, the attitude and the energy of hip-hop out of the background and into the spotlight.
