A Midwinter Night’s Dream

An Epic Valentine’s Night! A Midwinter Night’s Dream is an immersive theatrical staging of the Shakespearean classic by Ivey Award winning director James Napoleon Stone, artistic director of Theater Coup d’Etat. The gala event is produced by Positively Charmed in collaboration with a dozen other wedding vendors creating the opulent nuptials of Duke Theseus and Queen Hippolyta, amidst Puck’s mischievous intervening. There is a lavish feast, in progressive courses following the interactive play throughout the Semple Mansion, with live music including an operatic prelude and live theatrical accompaniment.

The benefit aspect of the celebration provides that a night of pure revelry holds relevance as well! Proceeds from ticket sales benefit “SAVE: Suicide Awareness Voices of Education”. SAVE is a non-profit organization that works toward the de-stigmatization of depression and suicide prevention.
