The return of a classic folktale about the magic of cooperation. SteppingStone Theatre's musical play is set in a mystical land of Celtic melodies and African rhythms. The perfect show for building community. When three strangers arrive in a town that has been ravage by war and famine, they start to cook a pot of stone soup. The townsfolk are wary and suspicious of the strangers and each other, but one carrot at a time, they come around to trust the newcomers. When the soup is ready and everyone shares in the feast, the town is brought back together, and the strangers have mysteriously disappeared. Great for Grades K-5. Enjoyed by all ages.
