Set in World War II Harlem, John Henry Redwood’s The Old Settler is the heartwarming tale of two delightful but very-bickering southern women – one the never married “old settler,” the other her outspoken, divorced sister. A handsome young boarder sparks a May/December romance that forces the sisters to confront a thirty-year-old wound and prove that it’s love which holds a family together.
