A Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Charles Fullter’s A SOLDIER’S PLAY is an interesting blend of courtroom drama, murder mystery and discourse of racial issues. Captain Davenport, a black lawyer, is trying to find out who killed the seargent of a black company. In solving the case, Davenport unearths a truth far more shocking than the murder itself. -jam
