About This Show

The Deconstructive Theatre Project, Boston’s newest theatre company, sends six of Boston’s hottest professional and up-and-coming actresses to the stage of the Stuart Street Playhouse to sing and dance to their favorite tunes – from Ben Folds and Bonnie Raitt to Jason Robert Brown and Judy Garland.

The Girlie Show features Cara Babich, Mary Callanan, Tiana Checchia, Danielle Hicks, Caitlin Meehan, and Kathy St. George, with musical direction by Catherine Stornetta, and direction by Adam J. Thompson. All proceeds benefit The Deconstructive Theatre Project’s 2007 season, featuring the premieres of two new ensemble-generated productions: Brecht & Co. and Colonia.

Appropriate for all ages.
