StageSource Party

A who’s who of Greater Boston’s finest actors, directors, designers and theatre professionals are expected to be on hand at StageSource’s annual celebration of the theatre community to honor Jacqui Parker, Artistic Director of Our Place Theatre Project and Founder and Director of African American Theatre Festival, as the recipient of the 2004 StageSource Theatre Hero Award.

The Party this year will celebrate the 2003-2004 theatre season and highlight work of Boston area theatre designers. The Party will feature live music by HUSH, is open to the public (all ages).

ASL-interpreters will be available at the Party. Co-chairs for the event are Jack Welch (Selectplays.com), Sarah deLima (actress and cabaret performer), and Skip Curtiss (Production Manager, Lyric Stage Company).

The Theatre Hero Award is presented to an exceptional member of the Greater Boston theatre community who has demonstrated a history of service and commitment to the community through leadership, support, inspiration, innovation and promotion of the art of theatre throughout the region.
