New York City
The 1920’s was the decade of entertainment. People danced until they dropped, the radio became popular and people tuned in everyday. When they listened, people liked to listen to jazz, especially the king of jazz, Louis Armstrong. This was a decade of elegance, a time of prohibition and violence as well as a time of spirit and great creativity. For two performances only Share the Music performs Songs of the Roaring Twenties! as a fundraiser for Gloucester Stage.
