Close to his tight-knit Italian-American family in Hoboken, New Jersey, Nick Cristano dutifully visits his four immigrant grandparents every Sunday for dinners that focus on “the three F’s”–family, faith, and food. When the young NYC marketing executive announces that he has accepted a job promotion that will take him to Seattle, Washington, the news doesn’t sit too well. What follows is an eruption of unsolicited advice, matchmaking, general meddling and endless offers of food in an effort to cajole him to stay.
