Set in the affluent suburb of Dublin, Ohio, Our Hearts as Fiction tells the moving story of a family struggling to remain intact. Allen, a father and husband, seems to have lost touch with his whole life. He finds himself going for long drives through his cookie-cutter neighborhood late at night, attempting to get lost. His daughter Elizabeth spends all her time watching old black-and-white movies. Fighting for her family, her job, her husband and even her own identity, Amy, the strained mother, tells a lie in a desperate attempt for the truth in her life to come out. Originally directed by London legend David Gothard, Our Hearts as Fiction will enjoy its Boston premiere at the Actor’s Workshop in March.
