Measure for Measure

The Theatre Cooperative presents Measure for Measure, Shakespeare’s answer to the question of “lewdness” and the government’s role in cracking down on immorality. Vienna’s strict new ruler takes it upon himself to rid the city of unseemly behavior. The play makes one wonder who decides what is immoral, and what behavior is unseemly.
