Yellow Taxi’s production of Allyson Currin’s play will be the first since it premiered in 2002 at the Washington Shakespeare Company in Arlington, VA. Emma (Suzanne Delle) has a problem — a secret affair with her department chair, a budding flirtation with a student, and a dissertation on Taming of the Shrew that just won’t cooperate. But when Shakespeare’s Kate (Leah Belanger) pops out of the text with unwanted advice about Emma’s love life, this comedy takes a side-splitting turn.
