About This Show

Josephine Del Deo is a protean person in a protean place. She will read from a broad spectrum of her writing on three evenings:

July 11: Portrait in Prose and Poetry will present three-dimensional sketches of a variety of characters whohave unkowingly posed for her literary palette.

July 25: Of Art And Artists: Uncommon comments in prose and poetry that cannot fail to inform and entertain in minutes lasting a lifetime.

August 22: The Poet in the Landscape: Josephine recovers the visual and inner landscape from immersion in it and reads her poetry as the painted word.

All three evenings include a Q & A + Book-Signings. Josephine received a BA in English from St. Lawrence Univ., Phi Beta Kappa, and studied at the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia where she also was in the acting company at the Hedgerow Rep. Co. She has written 5 volumes of poetry, 4 collections of short stories, (one about Italy in dual language), a novel, a biography of the American painter Ross Moffett, essays on art and artists and several plays.
