First Nite

Jack Neary’s romantic comedy First Nite occurs on New Year’s Eve. Danny, who seems to have worked at every dead job you can think of, is waiting to close up the video store where he works when Sister Meredith Louise walks in. In junior high school, Danny was in love with Meredith, but she went out of his life to pursue her vocation. Sparks fly when Danny, who has never gotten married, learns she has left the convent to seek him out. Just before closing time, she saunters into the store and they start to explore those lost 20 years.
