About the Show

Are you
obsessed with The Great British Baking Show? Do you often search for the best
pastries when you travel or scour countless cookbooks for the perfect recipe?
Then this online, intensive baking course is for you.


Join Pastry
Chef Janine Sciarappa as she cuts through all the mysteries of the art of
making pastries. She will share with you all of her tips and tricks to make the
most show-stopping, Instagram-worthy pastries, all from the comfort of your own
home.

Students will
work through each week's recipe module at their own pace. Students will also
schedule one-on-one, weekly, thirty-minute remote check-ins with the chef
instructor.


When do
classes meet?

On your
schedule! Students can access the Blackboard course site to review the week’s
videos and recipes at their own pace. Each week of class will be comprised of
three distinct components:

1.       
Recipe
execution done by students in their kitchen at their own pace. Recipes are
provided in both written and video formats. 

2.       
Students
document their baking with photos at specific points in the recipe and journal
their experience.

3.       
Individual
one-on-one Zoom meetings with Pastry Chef Janine Sciarappa. Weekly half-hour
meetings are scheduled at mutually agreeable times to review and support your
cooking experiences from the week's recipes.


What is
the approximate time commitment per week?

Watching
videos, taking notes, Zoom meetings: 2-3 hours

Weekly food
shopping: 1 hour

Active
cooking time: 3-6 hours


Refund
Policy

A full refund
is available before the second week of the course. After that, there are no
refunds. However, you can transfer your enrollment to another person.
