Just your typical romance between a musician, an actress… and his mom.

It’s 1969 and life is pretty good for Don who finally has his own apartment and some independence. Nothing could make it any better until Jill, a pretty young actress, moves next door and proposes friendship (not to mention the removal of the connecting door between their apartments). The only thing that can complicate matters is the arrival of Don’s overprotective mother who descends to put a stop to Don’s budding romance.
