Ben Sollee and Mother Falcon

Kentucky-based cellist, singer-songwriter, and composer Ben Sollee teams up with Austin’s 18-piece chamber-pop group Mother Falcon for an evening of innovative, genre-bending musicianship. Known for his thrilling, unconventional cello playing, Sollee possesses a knack for inventive, intricate arrangements, combining classical artistry with bluegrass and pop. Playing strings, horns, guitars, and percussion, Mother Falcon also works off a foundation of classical and chamber music, incorporating indie-rock elements and original vocal arrangements to create a full, stirring, and uplifting sound.
