The Center is thrilled to welcome the return of Trey McIntyre Project (TMP) for another innovative residency that will bring dance to Segerstrom Hall, our Arts Plaza and throughout the community. This promises to be a unique creative endeavor uniting cultures through dance.
TMP will be joined by members of the Seoul-based Korea National Contemporary Dance Company (KNCDC) in a new dance created by McIntyre that fuses American and Asian dance traditions, celebrating both artistic differences and similarities to bridge cultural divide. Building on TMP’s acclaimed 2009 Center premiere, this engagement too, will conclude with a major site-specific, multimedia performance on the Center’s Arts Plaza, commissioned by Segerstrom Center for the Arts
The Friday, November 23rd preview talk (one hour before the performance) will be sign language interpreted.
