About This Show
Calvin "Savage" James is a champion Black boxer, imprisoned for the murder of a Jewish couple slain during the Newark riots of 1967. Solomon "Sol" Eisner is a crusading investigative reporter who believes that Savage is innocent, possibly the victim of a conspiracy, and is devoted towards working for Savage’s release.
