Edgar Allan Poe–Once Upon a Midnight

Well known for his role as Gomez in the original Addams Family series, John Astin — Oscar and Emmy nominated actor — opens the 5th Season of the Hermosa Beach Playhouse with Edgar Allan Poe–Once Upon a Midnight. Before your eyes Astin becomes the mysterious Poe, a father of modern detective fiction, a misunderstood genius, a visionary and a man of many contradictions. Written by Paul Day Clemens and Ron Magid, the show is directed by Allan Bergmann.

There is an added performance Sunday at 7pm on October 20.
