All-Male Dorothy’s Adventures in OZ for Pride 2016

About This Show

It’s the internationally acclaimed Rudie-DeCarlo musical comedy, and it’s getting a make-over as Actors’ Repertory Theatre presents the ALL-MALE version in honor of PRIDE 2016. A gentle prod at stereotypical gender roles, this light-hearted send-up is a hilarious, ever-so-slightly bawdy twist on the classic tale, celebrating Dorothy’s 38th Playhouse anniversary with a brand new late-night production. Follow the escapades of Dorothy and her companions in a wild ride over the rainbow to that place where nothing is as it seems and dreams really do come true. Added delights are the outrageous costumes by Graham Silbert, the awesome special effects by Nima Ghassemian and a glass of champagne or sparkling apple juice to toast finding your true home over the rainbow by trusting your instincts, your friends, and your heart. Rated PG-15.
