The Play’s The Thing

Set in a castle on the Italian Riviera, this brilliant romantic comedy pokes fun at the theatre world as it tells the tale of two writers of operettas who take their young composer to Italy to surprise their vacationing prima donna, also the composer’s fiancee. When they arrive, however, they discover the prima donna with another man. It takes all the invention the writers can muster to come up with a plan to save the day.
