The Winter’s Tale

Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale portrays a king whose sudden and full-blown madness and jealousy destroys his family and his country. Only through the grace of time and of the love of his wife (thought to be dead) and his daughter (banished) are his world–and his heart–restored.
