Richter Rising Stars

Debuting this year, Richter Rising Stars is comprised of 19 high school and college-age students from 11 area towns who are talented singers, actors and dancers. The troupe has already performed at local events and venues throughout the community, such as Ridgefield’s Relay for Life and Danbury’s City Center Danbury, and in pre-shows at several Musicals at Richter main stage shows.

In cooperation with ASCAP, the Rising Stars perform age-appropriate musical numbers from the contemporary musical theater repertoire. All selections are from musicals that premiered after Musicals at Richter opened its lawn in 1985. Experience songs from Aida, High School Musical, Wicked, Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia, Little Shop of Horrors and other popular shows. All proceeds go to benefit Musicals at Richter and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
