God commanded, "Love thy Neighbor"; too bad Machiavelli didn’t believe in God. Mandragola is the deliciously sinful story of a man who, in coveting his neighbor’s wife, enlists the aid of a mooch, a priest, and the neighbor himself to get what he wants. This play begs the question: Do the ends always justify the means?
