Jet Lag

Following a critically-acclaimed run in New York, The Builders Association makes its British debut with this multi-media performance piece which examines how the Information Age has skewed and shrunk our perception of time. Jet Lag weaves together the narratives of a man who pretended to sail around the world and a woman who died after completing 167 flights with her grandson while trying to hide from the boy’s father. Original idea and video concept are by Diller+Scofidio. Text is by Jessica Chalmers, with video by Christopher Kondek. Marianne Weems directs.
