Billy Bob Thornton and The Boxmasters

Billy Bob Thornton brings his personality to the musical stage with songs featuring a blend of roots rock, country and folk from his fourth debut album, Beautiful Door. Joining Billy Bob’s solo act will be his other musical project, The Boxmasters. The band is fashioned after a 1960’s-era mod band whose upbeat rhythms and infectious arrangements contrast sardonically with the very dark themes they explore lyrically. Started by Billy Bob Thornton and GRAMMY® winner engineer/guitarist J.D. Andrew, The Boxmasters evolved into an alternative outlet for Thornton while he was recording his fourth solo album.
