Steel Magnolias

Deemed a tribute to the strength and loyalty of southern women, Steel Magnolias takes place in a small Louisiana hamlet, home to Truvy’s Beauty Parlor, where six friends convene to dish, declare, and discuss life’s triumphs and tragedies while getting their hair colored and fluffed. It’s an eclectic mix of belles, and their daily reports make for plenty of laughs and not a few poignant moments, especially surrounding the marriage and tragic death of one of their own.
