John Christopher Knight & Family Concert

John Christopher Knight and family live self-sufficiently without electricity, farm organically with horses and train Border Collies in rural KY. Having never pursued a music career, his incredible story began while camping at a Border collie event and he was overheard playing. In March he hit 44 on the AMA Radio Airplay Charts, two spots shy of Dixie Chicks. Recently featured on CNN andThe Today Show, PBS, radio, TV and newspapers around the country. Though still farming and training Border collies, Knight is now performing selective venues. His original music and unique vocals are entwined with heart tugging lyrics that echo reflections common to all. Joined by several of his 9 children, everyone plays multiple instruments, the 12-year-old playing six. Live, the performance is “MUCH more than music.” A gifted storyteller, writer, composer and musician, an audience is able to briefly embrace what most have only imagined, as their hearts are taken captive, and drawn into his family’s world. The show is described as “moving… wholesome… humorous…” and is said to be, “JUST WHAT WE NEEDED!”
