The Bluegrass Independent Film Festival pre-screening committee has chosen the best entries from hundreds submitted from around the world for inclusion in our programs. The short list of speakers is one to be envied by other festivals.

The Bluegrass Independent Film Festival is pleased to present film screenings at the Great Escape Oldham 8 in LaGrange, Kentucky. Films are chosen from seven different categories: FEATURES, SHORTS, DOCUMENTARIES, COMEDIES, ANIMATION-CLAYMATION, MUSIC VIDEOS, and BEST REGIONAL FILMMAKER. Cash prizes and trophies are awarded on Sunday evening to those films which have been rated highest in each category by the judges (experienced in the film industry) and the viewing audience.

One day ticket passes and weekend ticket passes may be purchased in advance or at the door. (due to limited seating, advance ticket sales are recommended) for only $10.00 per person ($15.00 on Saturday) for each day’s screening That’s right, for only $10.00 ($15 on Saturday) you can watch films all day and evening. A full weekend pass is available for only $25.00 which gives you unlimited access to all screening venues.

Your Friday evening ticket pass admits you into the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Opening Remarks, Celebrity and VIP Introductions, that evening’s screenings, and the “Meet the Filmmakers Party”. Maximum capacity of party is 175. Your Saturday ticket pass admits you into the film screenings all day long. Saturday night, “Maker’s Mark Madness” at Waldeck Mansion–Reception for VIP’s, Filmmakers, and the public with advance paid ticket purchases at only $25 per person.(Must be over 21 years old) LIMITED # of TICKETS AVAILABLE. Sunday’s ticket pass admits you into the awards ceremony and film screenings.
