Thanksgiving is a family affair. A Jewish family
from Manhattan fights, with surprising humor, to keep their spirit and creativity alive when each struggles to face their own heartbreak with grace and courage. They learn in their own time that while grief eventually takes care of itself, the full value of joy is reached when we share it with others. We are each supported by those people we belong to and the larger community we are a part of, but survival is ultimately personal.
