Wake Up, Apocalypse, (Awake!)

About the Show

Greasy Joan has discovered an unknown play by Konstantin Gavrilovich Treplev, who committed suicide, leaving his work incomplete. First performed in 1895 at the author’s mother’s estate, the Rhino Fest marks the professional premiere of this little-known predecessor to Samuel Beckett. Wake Up, Apocalypse (Awake!) explores new forms for the theater while reflecting on themes from Chekhov’s Seagull.
