About the Show

Bailiwick’s Artistic Director David Zak has developed Underground Love: The Poetry of Harold Norse, Erotic and Not. A play in fove moments for five actors, the show traces the life of the poet- who in many ways represents all men of that generation. Harold Norse was personal secretary to W.H. Auden, and roommate of young Tennessee Williams. He traveled with Kerouac and Ginsberg, and is still writing poetry in San Francisco today.
