Two by Friel (after Chekhov) is a double bill of two new plays by Brian Friel, each of them inspired by characters originally created by Anton Chekhov. The evening will consist of The Yalta Game, a two character adaptation of the short story “Lady with the Lapdog” and The Bear, a new version of Chekhov’s popular ‘vaudeville’ sketch about a stormy first meeting between two headstrong people.
