Toast of the Town

Goldie McJohn is a playwright ready to quit the business. His wife is 8 months pregnant, he’s had moderate success, but not enough. Enter the prestigious Lawdy Mama Theater Company to offer him a slot in their upcoming season. If the show is a success, he gains a spot in the theater company. Sounds easy enough, right? Well, throw in a distraught company member who’ll stop at nothing to sabotage the show, some peculiar actors, an insane director and her two wacky cohorts, a power-crazed restaurant owner, a mention of Shakespeare’s Scottish play and a Cesarean, and you have insanity unleashed….it’s Toast of the Town!
