The Underpants

The Noble Fool Theater Company presents the Midwest premiere of Hollywood actor and author Steve Martin’s newest play, The Underpants. Martin’s comic adaptation of Carl Sternheim’s edgy 1911 farce Die Hose, tells of a man who is mortally embarrassed when his wife’s underpants fall down during the procession of the King. He swears to keep her at home until she can find some less unruly undies. However, two gentlemen, having borne witness to the scandalous event, become immediately smitten with her.
