The Duchess of Malfi

As far as the brothers of the newly widowed duchess are concerned, she has no business marrying again. They have their own ideas about what should be done with her wealth and body. When they learn that she has not only secretly married a decent man with no title to his name, but intends to run off with him and as many valuables as she can carry, her brothers’ greed and incestuous jealousy set off a grisly cycle of vengeance upon vengeance.
