A romantic journey of passion, pathos and serenity, Níkos Vlachos’ The Bed chronicles the marriage between Joe and Sara Isaia. The story begins in 1983, on their wedding night, and continues through childbirth, accomplishments and disappointments, disharmony and separation, compromise and reconciliation, to the year 2045. It is a modern-day fable not so much of making decisions but of decisions made right.
