Territory Between, The

Fluid Measure Performance Company premieres three new collaborative duets. FISH EYES explores the tension between sexual desire and fear of intimacy. This movement poem incorporates video installation. THE ONION takes place within a maternity ward recovery room. A new mother wakes from an emergency caesarean section to find herself trapped in the recovery room. The piece is a funny, surreal look at the cultureal expectations of mothers. WITHIN RUPTURE focuses on an adult who looks back to the time of her childhood longing for her mother amidst suffering of growing up.
