Six Stories Up In The Windy City

Six Stories Up In The Windy City is the final product of an annual mentoring program developed by Tellin’ Tales Theatre, now in its 15th year. In July, Six Stories Up pairs 6 storytelling mentors with 6 apprentices, with and without disabilities, to create 6 unique scenes. After each team chooses a landmark moment in the city’s history, they infuse wild imagination into their own personal stories to create a fantastical, Chicago-centric musical. This delightful collection of stories takes audiences from the ashes of the Chicago Fire to the future of our fair city. All twelve participants will perform Six Stories Up In The Windy City under the direction of Artistic Director, Tekki Lomnicki.
