AgitPop presents its inaugural production, Political Masks 2004, a world premiere play by Chicago playwright Vincent Bruckert. This drama connects issues of local security and patriotism with the challenges of national leadership. In this new work, biological and chemical agents collide as a fraternity president decides to run for Congress, but first he must clear up some issues from his past; an actor gets offered a part he can’t refuse; a sheriff and his deputy rise up to perform the most important task for their nation’s security; and two college students get busted for computer hacking… too bad they’re both Muslim.
