Simon Hench, a brilliant and successful man, has become totally fed up with the mundane issues and problems of family, friends, and associates. He zealously tries to insulate himself by withdrawing ever inward, while maintaining a clever, buoyant passive aggressiveness whenever his safe isolation is threatened. The more he recedes from them, the more assiduously they try to reach him with their issues. Reach him they do, right to his core as his world turns ugly in the midst of a darkly funny and uniquely insightful play regarding the rules of engagement with others, from spouse to strangers.
