Inside/Outside

Teen members of Lookingglass Theatre Company’s new Lookingglass Young Ensemble have been collaborating with their peers at the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center to create Inside/Outside, a powerful new piece of original theater, which tells their stories while examining themes of justice.

Poignant, funny, thought provoking and told with searing honesty, Inside/Outside ultimately asks audiences to consider why, as a society, we fear those we don’t know. Recommended for middle schoolers and up, this groundbreaking new work is sure to offer unique opportunities for post-show discussion among the audience.
