In One Room

Jimmy Maize’s In One Room is based on interviews conducted with gay lesbian and bisexual youth under the age of 25 from all over the country and juxtaposes the experience of GLBT kids from rural settings with their urban counterparts. Structured as a series of
monologues (consisting of the most compelling and wide-ranging interviews) connected by a web of comments taken from subjects around the country, the show creates a kinetic dialogue of what these diverse queer youth might say to one another if they were given the chance to meet.
