I Will Fly Like a Bird

Based on a true story, this one-act opera follows Robert Dziekanski as he attempts to immigrate from his home country of Poland to be reunited with his mother in Canada, only to meet a tragic fate at the hands of airport security. The opera will be preceded by an instrumental prelude by Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki, featuring the Thompson Street Opera Company orchestra.
