Courtney vs. Cancer is a new, one act, dark comedy that follows 26-year-old Courtney, as she confronts her real life cancer diagnosis. Told from her perspective and joined by an ensemble playing the various roles in her life, she delves into the harrowing and often tragically comedic memories from her days as a cancer patient. This staged preview is recounted like a scrapbook of woven memories and is a love letter to all who have fought and continue the fight against this terrible disease.
