A comedy of the sexes, George Bernard Shaw’s Candida revolves around the Reverend James Morell, his wife, and Eugene Marchbanks, a young poet. Morrell’s comfortable marriage to Candida is shaken by the arrival of the poet. Both Morrell and Marchbanks adore Candida, in quite different ways and for quite different reasons. Likewise, she is attracted to them for their very different qualities. Marchbanks believes she has a choice; Morell is devastated at the thought of losing his wife; both men forget she is her own woman.
Candida is directed by Frank Farrell and features John Blick, Amy Caldwell, Larry Filas, Garrett Matheson, Matt Peterson and Susan Kessler. Costumes are designed by Jennifer Hawk.
