Built in a Day: 10-minute play festival

Five outstanding ten-minute plays have been selected by a panel of Keyhole artists. On the morning of the benefit, five directors will see these plays for the first time. Along with their actors, they will spend the next ten hours rehearsing, memorizing, and perfecting their shows. That evening, all five shows will run back-to-back in three consecutive performances, vying for the chance to win ‘audience choice’ prizes!

The five short plays are: Rory Leahy’s The New Models, Bobby Zaman’s Last Rites, John Wilson’s Kicker, David Alex’s Antediluvian II, and Jon Steinhagen’s Empty Vessels. The five directors are John Wilson, Beth Cummings, Magen Saralampi, Matthew Singletary and Bobby Zaman.

The evening will also feature refreshments, food and a raffle.
