About the Show
Billy the Mountain is a Frank Zappa-inspired rock opera. As Billy and his wife Ethel travel from California to New York, the company weaves its own stories in and out of Zappa’s tale and shows how our perspectives of war vary based on how we, who are stateside and comfortably removed from the battleground, experience war through letters, books, music, movies and the media.
Tickets to the Sunday, August 6th performance include a champagne toast and birthday cake to celebrate Striding Lion’s fifth year of production.
