Galerie Fantastique

The KSO performs
works inspired by visual art including a world premiere by Northern Kentucky
composer Andrew Strawn with Flowers from Vincent, together with a tristate premiere of Michael Daugherty’s
Symphonic Fantasy on the Art of Andy Warhol, and the war horse of Modest
Mussorgsky (orch. Ravel) of Pictures at an Exhibition.  The paintings of Van Gogh Warhol, Hartmann will
be projected above the KSO, for the audience to see and hear the efforts of
both artists/composers.
